The Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures (REALC) at Emory University invites applications for a temporary position in Chinese language for spring 2023. This is a one semester contract position and the appointee will teach 2 Chinese language courses. Applicants should have a minimum of an MA in Chinese language, linguistics, cultural studies, pedagogy, or a related area and possess native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin. Only applicants who are authorized or can obtain the necessary visa to work in the USA should apply. The employment starting date is Jan. 1st 2023. This is a three-year renewable position pending positive reviews.
